Former Arista Records CEO Antonio Marquis “L.A.” Reid lost his bid to have a music producer’s damages claim for lost commissions stripped from her lawsuit alleging sexual assault, false imprisonment, and other violations.

Reid argued that Drew Dixon, who worked for Arista more than two decades ago, waited too long to seek damages for commissions she missed out on when he refused to sign artists who went on to global stardom.
