RDO Equipment Corp. got tentative court approval for a deal to pay $2 million to end a class action alleging it violated California labor laws by failing to pay employees adequate wages or provide rest periods.
Judge Dale A. Drozd of the US District Court for the Eastern District of California granted preliminary approval of the settlement agreement in a Wednesday order. An estimated 643 individuals who worked for RDO in California between April 2019 and November 2024 will receive a chunk of the settlement amount, averaging roughly $1,700 each.
