Rand Corp., Female Grants Team Worker Resolve Pay Bias Lawsuit

Rand Corp. and a female contract administrator, who allegedly was paid less than men on her team because she is a woman, have settled her lawsuit, Pennsylvania federal court records show.

Terms of the agreement weren’t publicly available and attorneys for Stacey Gallaway and the nonprofit public policy organization didn’t immediately respond Monday to Bloomberg Law’s requests for details.

Rand and Gallaway informed the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania of the settlement in a June 12 status report, and Judge Robert J. Colville on Monday directed the court clerk to mark the case closed. The parties ...
