Joseph A. Shifer joined Pryor Cashman as a partner in its bankruptcy, reorganization, and creditors’ rights group in New York, the firm announced Tuesday.
Shifer focuses his practice on bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights matters, representing stakeholders in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts. He advises individual creditors, creditors’ committees, ad hoc creditor groups, distressed investors, and financial institutions in restructurings across energy, financial services, shipping, retail, and health care, the firm said.
He joins from Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel.
