The Labor Department is moving ahead with a regulation to extend financial reporting requirements on private sector unions to public sector mid-level union chapters, setting up another Trump administration battle against the labor movement.
A final draft of the proposed rule arrived Aug. 9 at the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs for final review before public release, according to a post on OIRA’s website.
