Procter & Gamble Near Accord With DACA Litigant, Court Told

Procter & Gamble Co. reached a settlement agreement in the proposed class action filed by a “dreamer” who sued the company over its hiring policy after it rejected his 2013 internship application.

The consumer products multinational and David Rodriguez, who was approved for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program in 2012, intend to finalize the full settlement agreement by July 14 and seek the court’s preliminary approval July 30, according to a notice filed June 1 with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
