Prioritize Workplace Safety in 2023 Budget, Labor Chief Says

Labor Secretary Marty Walsh had one answer when asked which of his agencies must get priority funding next year: “OSHA.”

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration is at the top of the priority list for Walsh, who appeared before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies to discuss the fiscal 2023 budget.
