Workers will get higher wages and better chances of a union contract on Nevada public works projects under new laws signed May 28.
Two measures approved by Gov. Steve Sisolak (D) reverse course from his Republican predecessor, Brian Sandoval, who limited prevailing wage law and project labor agreements. Sisolak, who took office in January, said he was righting “anti-worker wrongs.”
