Pratt & Whitney IAM Union Workers Ratify Deal, Ending Strike

Pratt & Whitney IAM union workers ratified a new four-year collective bargaining agreement with the engine maker, ending a three-week strike that began earlier this month, according to an emailed statement from the union.

  • IAM members at Pratt & Whitney produce and maintain jet aircraft engines for military and commercial jets
  • Deal covers wage growth, retirement security and job stability
  • About 3,000 union workers voted by 74% to ratify the deal
