Postmates Inc. must answer questions about class notice delivery issues before a San Francisco court will approve a $32 million settlement covering the alleged misclassification of California delivery drivers.

The proposed settlement resolves claims that the delivery platform misclassified its workers as independent contractors before the implementation of California’s law exempting app-based drivers from strict worker status rules.
