A federal court in Washington, D.C., said it lacks authority to block the U.S. Postal Service from rolling out a new initiative to get more Northern Virginia workers out on their routes because no significantly irreparable harm exists.
The National Association of Letter Carriers AFL-CIO has challenged the USPS’s newly-enacted job reforms, which reorganized workers’ duties and functions so that they spend more time delivering mail and less time in the office.
