Steven Cohen’s Point72 Asset Management LP isn’t wasting any time pushing back on a bias lawsuit filed by an employee who claims the firm discriminates against women.
On the evening of Feb. 14, barely two days after the firm was sued, Point72 asked a federal judge in New York to dismiss Lauren Bonner’s lawsuit because her claims should be heard in arbitration. Point72’s request was expected, but the speed with which it brought the demand was notable.
