PNC Bank N.A. would pay $16 million to a class of mortgage loan officers under a proposed settlement of the employees’ overtime pay claims (Bland v. PNC Bank, N.A., W.D. Pa., No. 15-01042, proposed settlement filed 1/5/17).
The proposed pact filed Jan. 5 in a federal district court in Pennsylvania would settle two lawsuits in which 21 named loan officers allege that PNC violated federal and state laws by not paying them overtime or by underpaying them for extra hours worked.
