The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette must bargain with the union representing its editorial staff after the National Labor Relations Board ruled it unlawfully refused to negotiate for seven years.
The Pennsylvania news publication began talks in 2017 for a new contract with its editorial employees, represented by the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh. Over three years, the company proposed increasingly extreme changes to the contract, the board’s three Democratic members said in its decision Friday.
