Pennysaver USA Faces Class Action Over ‘Mass Layoff’ of California Employees

PennySaver USA LLC was hit with a proposed class action in California state court May 26, alleging that the local advertising publication terminated hundreds of its employees without giving them a written notice at least 60 days in advance as required by law (Benton v. PennySaver USA LLC, Cal. Super. Ct., 30-2015-00789540, complaint filed 5/26/15).
