Peloton Interactive Inc. violated New York labor law by failing to pay its field operations staff on a weekly basis, according to a potential class action filed Tuesday in federal court.
The plaintiff Jason Sorin also brought individual claims that he faced workplace discrimination and retaliation due to his Jewish faith.
Sorin delivered, set up, and maintained Peloton’s indoor cycling equipment. He claims Peloton field operations staff were paid on a biweekly basis, in violation of New York labor law, which requires manual workers be paid weekly within seven days after the end of the week.
