Pei Wei Asian Diner LLC was hit with a proposed class action alleging the company allows sexual harassment of female employees at its Little Rock, Ark., location.
The general manager and a kitchen manager sexually harassed female employees, and the company knew about it, according to the complaint filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Oct. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
Although it was aware of the problem, the company failed to take measures to protect employees from harassment or maintain an effective anti-harassment policy, according to the complaint.
