Papa John’s delivery drivers asked a federal judge to sign off on their $2.1 million deal to resolve mileage reimbursement claims against franchisees in 10 states.
The settlement recovers approximately 26.5% of the workers’ $7.9 million estimated damages before deducting attorneys’ fees and other expenses for the wage-and-hour litigation that’s already lasted nearly a decade, according to preliminary settlement approval documents filed in the US District Court for the District of Idaho.
