P&G, Securitas Accused of Bias by Walker-Using Security Guard

A building security officer in Ohio who claims she was terminated in violation of disability discrimination law for using a walker at work sued Procter & Gamble and security solutions provider Securitas (McKinney v. Securitas Sec. Servs. USA, Inc., Bankr. S.D. Ohio, No. 1:17-cv-00222, complaint filed 4/5/17).

The case may raise the question about when a worker hired to provide security services becomes incapable of performing an essential job function because of a lack of or limited mobility.
