OSHA Hedges as Vaccination Effect on Enforcement Stays Unsettled

Federal OSHA has yet to decide what effect Covid-19 vaccinations will have on how it compels employers to comply with its requirements and guidance on protecting workers from on-the-job infections, agency officials said.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is consulting with the Labor Department’s Office of the Solicitor to determine what the procedures and policies should be, Yasmine Daniels, an industrial hygienist with OSHA’s enforcement directorate, said during an online seminar the agency sponsored Monday.
