Oracle Sued for Alleged Pay, Hiring Discrimination

Oracle America Inc. discriminated against female, black and Asian employees by paying them less than white males with the same job titles, according to a Labor Department complaint announced Jan. 18 (OFCCP v. Oracle Am., Inc., Dep’t of Labor A.L.J., Docket Number Unavailable, announced 1/18/17).

The company also discriminated against non-Asian applicants in hiring for product development and other technical roles, the DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs alleged.
