Oracle, Labor Dept. Press Pause on Pay, Hiring Bias Dispute

Oracle America Inc. and the Labor Department will attempt to mediate their legal fight over alleged pay and hiring discrimination at the company’s California headquarters, according to a recently posted administrative law judge’s order.

Judge Christopher Larsen of the DOL’s Office of Administrative Law Judges stayed an administrative action brought by the agency’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs against Oracle (OFCCP v. Oracle Am., Inc., Dep’t of Labor A.L.J., No. 2017-OFC-00006, order staying proceeding 10/30/17).
