Employers seeking H-1B visas will have a chance to set up online accounts in advance of a new electronic preregistration process that will be a part of this year’s visa lottery.
The exact date those accounts can be created has yet to be announced, according to a Jan. 8 notice from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Employers also can create accounts and immediately register for the H-1B lottery when preregistration opens March 1, the agency said.
