A sports reporter who hosted Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche games was sidelined by his television network due to race, age, and disability bias, he alleges in a new federal lawsuit.
Todd Romero, who is Hispanic and 56 years old, previously hosted up to 60 basketball and hockey games per year for Altitude Sports & Entertainment LLC and its owner Kroenke Sports & Entertainment LLC, according to his complaint filed March 26. Romero alleges Altitude paid him less than non-Hispanic coworkers for years.
