Omni Shoreham Sales Director Must Arbitrate Pay Bias Claims

Omni Hotels Management Corp. can require a former sales and marketing director to arbitrate claims that she was paid less than her male counterparts and forced to quit for complaining about it, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled.

Jill Flynn failed to show the arbitration agreement she signed in 2016, more than two years after being hired by the Omni Shoreham, was invalid or unenforceable or that Omni forfeited its right to hold her to it, the court said Thursday.
