Olin Corp. Settles Bias, Retaliation Suit With Black HR Director

Olin Corp. reached a deal to end discrimination and retaliation claims by a Black former human resources director at one of its ammunition plants.

The parties settled the case after mandatory mediation but asked Chief Judge Nancy J. Rosenstengel of the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois for 60 days to hammer out the details, which she granted Monday. She ordered the clerk of court to dismiss the case with prejudice after the 60 days pass.
