Old Dominion Gets Claims Trimmed in California Workers’ Wage Row

Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. won a reprieve from claims it stiffed a class of California truck drivers on wages.

The workers didn’t sufficiently allege the trucking company ran afoul of state law on waiting time, sick leave, and wage deductions, the US District Court for the Central District of California said. However, they can file another complaint with more details on those allegations, and their minimum wage, inaccurate wage statement, and expense reimbursement claims can move forward as-is, the order said.
