Ohio Nursing Homes Accused by EEOC of Sexual Orientation Bias

Aspire Regional Partners Inc., MSTC Development Inc., and their nursing homes known as the Northwood Assisted Living and Northwood Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities in Ohio allegedly discriminated against a maintenance director because of his sexual orientation, the EEOC announced Tuesday.

The lawsuit, filed in US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, alleges that the maintenance director was falsely accused of performance deficiencies and fired because of his sexual orientation, according to the agency.
