Officer’s Sex Harassment Suit Against Supervisors, City Trimmed

A female California police officer who sued three of her former superiors and the city she served is moving forward with the majority of her sex discrimination and retaliation claims, but not with those ruled untimely.

Amber Moreno correctly argued that the statute of limitations on her state claims hadn’t lapsed, thus they are subject to the enlarged statute of limitations enacted in 2020, US District Court for the Eastern District of California Judge Jennifer L. Thurston said Monday.
