OFCCP Withdraws Complaint Against Florida Hospital

A Labor Department administrative law judge April 1 dismissed a long-running Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs jurisdiction action against a Florida hospital that participates in the TRICARE health care program, doing so in light of the OFCCP’s March 28 withdrawal of its complaint (OFCCP v. Fla. Hosp. of Orlando).

The dismissal is part of last month’s agreement between the DOL and members of Congress to establish a five-year moratorium on the OFCCP’s enforcement activities involving medical providers involved with the program, the Defense Department’s health care program for active and retired military members 50 DLR A-5, 3/14/14
