The New York State Nurses Association announced June 18 that it has reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement with three New York City hospital systems that bargained together—New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
The contract also would cover nurses at two other hospitals operated by Mount Sinai—Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai Roosevelt, both in Manhattan. Those hospitals previously were operated as one entity by Continuum Health Partners, which merged with Mount Sinai in 2013.
