NuVasive Denied Order to Stop Sales Employee From Taking Clients

Medical device company NuVasive Inc. failed to convince a Florida federal court that it would be harmed if a former employee wasn’t enjoined from taking customers with him to his new job with a competitor.

A preliminary injunction against sales representative Christopher LeDuff isn’t proper because NuVasive didn’t demonstrate why the parties’ non-compete agreement is necessary to protest business interests, Judge Sheri Polster Chappell of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida said.
