Nutrition, Defense Programs Among Thousands Scrutinized by Trump

More than 2,000 accounts, from Pentagon programs to nutrition aid, will be scrutinized as part of President Donald Trump’s directive to pause federal spending, according to a White House document obtained by Bloomberg Government.

The White House Office of Management and Budget document directs agency officials to fill out a questionnaire about a wide range of programs, noting whether they provide services to undocumented immigrants, provide foreign aid, or “promote gender ideology,” among other concerns.
