Nursing Home Had to Bargain on Covid Bonus End, 3d Cir. Says (2)

The National Labor Relations Board had enough evidence to rule that a now-defunct nursing home in New Jersey had to bargain with its staffers’ union before reducing and then stopping bonus payments made during the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic, a federal appeals court held.

The US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on Monday enforced the NLRB’s 2022 decision that Alaris Health at Boulevard East’s unilateral changes to pay rates violated the National Labor Relations Act.
