A nurse anesthetist can pursue most claims in a suit alleging his former employer discriminated against him based on his disability when it refused to exempt him from a Covid-19 vaccine mandate and then fired him.
The worker sufficiently alleged Northwell Health Inc. and North Shore-LIJ Anesthesiology PC failed to accommodate his heart condition in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and state law, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
