Susan Harthill’s nomination to the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission has been withdrawn, according to a White House statement. If confirmed, Harthill would have given the panel a full complement of commissioners for the first time in over a year.
Harthill is a former Department of Labor deputy solicitor for national operations. She’s currently a senior consultant with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP who represents businesses in employment and Employee Retirement Income Security Act matters, according to the firm’s website.
