Noel Beasley Elected Workers United President

Workers United General Executive Board May 9 elected Noel Beasley president of the union, an affiliate of Service Employees International Union, to succeed Bruce Raynor, who had stepped down from the position two days earlier, the union announced.

Beasley has been with Workers United for 35 years and previously served as an executive vice president of the union. For the past 25 years, he has been director of Workers United’s Chicago and Midwest Regional Joint Board.
