The National Labor Relations Board’s top lawyer is calling on regional offices to ask respondents that the board finds to have violated federal labor law whether they plan to comply with the mandated remedies or contest them.
NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo in a memo issued Monday instructed the agency’s regional directors to give respondents a “short deadline period” to reply to inquiries about their plans following a board ruling.
