NLRB’s Emanuel Ethics Clean Up Continues in Marathon Case (1)

The National Labor Relations Board withdrew a procedural order in a case involving Marathon Petroleum Corp. because of former board member William Emanuel’s improper participation, replacing it with a second order reaching the same conclusion.

The NLRB on Thursday vacated and then duplicated its order to send the case back to a regional office to process the union’s withdrawal of an unfair labor practice charge against Marathon. The charge relates to the company’s alleged failure to provide a United Steelworkers affiliate with requested information.
