NLRB Won’t Wipe Out Union Election Win Without Proof of Harm

The National Labor Relations Board gave a union a chance to preserve its election victory to represent more than 300 workers at a Las Vegas-area hotel and casino, overturning a decision that nixed the vote over the removal of union buttons.

An NLRB regional director was wrong to spike a Unite Here affiliate’s election win at Fiesta Henderson Casino Hotel without evidence that board agents caused actual harm by erroneously telling workers to remove campaign insignia while they voted, the board said.
