The National Labor Relations Board’s legal arm launched a new policy to make sure immigrant workers have “safe and dignified access” to the agency’s processes for safeguarding workers’ rights under federal labor law.
NLRB regional staffers should give witnesses a fact sheet—available in English and Spanish—explaining that the agency isn’t involved in enforcing immigration laws and won’t share information with Immigration and Customs Enforcement or other immigration authorities, the general counsel’s office directed in a memo released Monday.
