NLRB Top Attorney Taps Predecessor as Deputy General Counsel

Jennifer Abruzzo, the new general counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, has named Peter Sung Ohr, the acting general counsel while she awaited confirmation, to the permanent role of deputy general counsel.

The announcement came after Abruzzo was sworn in Thursday, ending a lengthy confirmation battle that required a tie-breaking vote from Vice President Kamala Harris. Ohr had served as acting general counsel since January, after President Joe Biden fired Trump-era general counsel Peter Robb and his top deputy, Alice Stock.
