NLRB Stops Settlement of Labor Law Case Against Wheelchair Maker

The National Labor Relations Board blocked the settlement of allegations that a mobility device manufacturer had overly restrictive terms in its employment agreement that workers were required to sign.

Although the settlement resolved the dispute between Permobil Inc. and the worker who filed labor law charges against it, the deal didn’t protect the rights of other employees who had to sign the contract, the NLRB ruled Thursday.
