The National Labor Relations Board had enough evidence to conclude that a Chicago-area car dealership illegally fired a worker who was active in his union, a federal appeals court held.
Cadillac of Naperville Inc. owner Frank Laskaris acted with animus toward John Bisbikis’ union activity by warning him against striking, singling him out as the only employee to be permanently replaced while on strike, and making clear he wasn’t wanted back, the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said in an unpublished opinion Wednesday.
