NLRB Regional Office Backs Football Players
And Directs Election on Union Representation

College football players who receive grant-in-aid scholarships from Northwestern University are employees who may vote on whether to be represented for purposes of collective bargaining by a labor organization, a National Labor Relations Board regional director decided March 26 (Northwestern Univ.).
