A Virginia trucking company must recognize and bargain with its workers’ union after it committed a slew of legal violations surrounding the unionization election, the National Labor Relations Board ruled.
The owners and managers of Garten Trucking LLC, based in Covington, Va., illegally interrogated, coerced, and threatened a group of workers as they debated whether they wanted to be represented by the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers in 2021, the NLRB held Tuesday.
