A National Labor Relations Board official asked a federal judge to order companies providing labor to a related Illinois truck dealership to recognize and bargain with a union that represents parts and service department workers.
NLRB Regional Director Angie Cowan Hamada in Chicago filed an injunction petition Thursday targeting M&K Truck Centers—a trade name for a family of truck dealerships with common ownership—and two labor-leasing entities that it allegedly created for the purposes of avoiding union bargaining obligations.
