NLRB Ex-Chair to Lead Georgetown Law’s New Worker Rights Center

Mark Gaston Pearce, former Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board, soon will head to Georgetown University to chair a new Workers’ Rights Institute at the college’s law school.

Pearce spent most of his roughly 40-year career at the board, which is responsible for adjudicating labor disputes between unions, workers, and businesses, and administrating union elections. He held positions as an agency attorney, a member of the five-seat board, and was chairman under President Barack Obama between 2011-2017.
