NLRB Asks for Nationwide Injunction in Denver Starbucks Case (1)

The National Labor Relations Board is seeking another nationwide cease and desist order against Starbucks Corp. as part of an injunction bid filed in federal court.

Matthew Lomax, Regional Director of Region 27, asked a federal judge in the US District Court for the District of Colorado Tuesday to order the coffee giant to stop firing or disciplining employees for unionizing. The 10(j) injunction request stems from allegations that Starbucks managers unlawfully fired a barista in Denver for organizing with Starbucks Workers United in May 2022.
