The Ninth Circuit sided with the Trump administration in throwing out a preliminary court order that required the government to recognize collective bargaining rights for thousands of federal workers.

A coalition including the American Federation of Government Employees didn’t show they were likely to succeed on claims that President Donald Trump retaliated against them in signing an executive order to dismantle unions at certain agencies based on national security concerns, a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled Thursday.
